A stranger returns...

Greetings all,

I'm not new to the site, though I tend to spend very little time here between cycles. Don't get me wrong, I love all the helpful peeps and info. I'm just one of those that avoids the subject of the beast whenever it isn't kicking my... Well, you get the idea.

Needless to say, I'm back after 3 years of mostly pf. I've been hit almost every other night since the 10th until tonight which is after being hit last night as well. First 2 nights I got hit were rather mild kip 3 or so, and I was able to ride them out fairly easy then just go back to sleep. The one last night was around a 6 at the point I dug out the trusty Imitrex.

Last night's kip 6 combined with the obvious cycle start-up (even though this is late in the year and atypcial for me) led to me heading to the store to pick up Batch's D3 supplies. Started that tonight. Got hit tonight at about 1:45am with a kip 8-9, Imitrex (2mg trick), gone in about 15 min and back to sleep I went. Awoke just before time to normally get up for work with a heavy shadow which I almost thought was the beginning of a second full-blown hit, but it went away on its own within 15 min luckily.

I'm new to the D3 treatment, so anyone that can give me any pointers, I'd be grateful. It's hard enough affording the doctor visits to get the much-needed Imitrex shots (also quite unaffordable) with having no insurance, so getting a bunch of specialized tests for D3 levels is best avoided if at all possible while still trying the treatment.

Anyway, pf wishes for all.

Welcome back Anthony. The D-3 has me pain free over 3 years. PM Batch, he'll work with you tweaking the regimen. Hoping it proves the magic for you it's been for me.  Wink
