Melatonin Jump?
Dec 7th, 2013 at 8:19am

Hello,
This is Amanda here again, with my CH friend. Is it possible to jump from 10mgs to 15mgs of melatonin, or is it too much?
We need to do something and we only have 5 mg tablets available.
And help as fast as possible would be appreciated.
Amanda

Hi,
Yes it's OK. I have 3mg tabs and I take 5 of them. I believe some people take more than that.

We did an informal survey a while back. Some go as high as 18 mg a night. Do check your label as there are several versions of melatonin out. From our informal survey It was generally agreed that the "good stuff" is

n-Acetyl-5-Methoxytryptamine.

Some people take a combo of both the immediate release (to get to sleep right away) and the time-release (to stay asleep).

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.
