Latest O2 at high flow papers
Jan 7th, 2014 at 10:38am

42 year old CCH sufferer here, who has been successfully aborting with O2 via demand mask for years.  I'm finally going to need to get an O2 setup for work in addition to home (I work downtown Chicago and live in the burbs and commute via train daily).

My very conservative neuro still writes the O2 script for 10 LPM.  I bought my own M-tank regulator and E-tank regulator for my tanks at home but would prefer not to need to buy another regulator for work (yes, I could bring it back and forth, but I'm eventually going to forget it and have problems).

If anyone has current medical research (that would meet a conservative neuro's standard of reliable medical research) justifying ideally 25 LPM but at least 15 LPM please post it or message me.  My thinking is if I can get my neuro to change the Rx I may have a shot at getting my insurance to pay for a regulator with a DISS connector if at all possible.  Thanks.

Matt
