There's a strange glow in the sky here over southern England. It's bright, like a fireball and it's emitting warmth. I'm sure I have a very vague memory of seeing something like it once before. What do you think?  UFO?   Grin

That fireball passed over my house about 2 hours ago. Only lasted 13 minutes. I remember seeing it almost every day when I lived in Vegas but don't see it often here. It is scheduled to re-appear again next Thursday PM.

I know the big UFO you're talking about, Maz. So long since we've seen it here though that when it does pop in for a visit we have to take the children inside so they don't get frighted.

This is the end of summer for us, and three months of drought-breaking rain, so the dry season will be starting again soon.

We're not supposed to call this the big wet anymore (bad for our tourist image) so it's been renamed the green season and fair enough too, I reckon, because everything really is so green just now. The bread, the bathroom, my leather belt, my toes.

Ah well, such is the price of living in paradise.
