Week 1 on Testosterone
May 23rd, 2014 at 3:35pm

A week has passed, and while I am STILL waiting for my original blood work to come back, I wanted to report how things are going.

Just a recap: my doctor gave me a prescription for Testosterone Cyp. 200mg every 28 days by intramuscular injection. I took my first shot last weekend.

So far I have not noticed any effects that some guys on T talk about, but it is supposed to take about a month to fully kick in. I can say that I have had 4 pain free days and 3 pain free nights since I took the shot, and that is a miracle. While it could be placebo effect, I am hopeful that it will continue.

I'm planning on reporting back in every week/month so that my progress on the T and the (hopefully) absence of shadows/beast attacks can be tracked. Hormones are powerful things...

Hi,
I don't think CH would respond to a placebo in that way. Maybe the T is really helping you, or perhaps your cycle is ending on it's own. Whatever the reason, I hope it continues for a long time for you.
Maz.

There's no placebo with CH. Testosterone deficiency seems to be a trigger and there where some studies that showed TRT is effective for some CH patients. Also, D3 has a role in T production which may be one reason why the D3 regimen helps people.

Good luck SmallNStout amd keep us posted.

I did testosterone cyp shots for about three years -- thinking back on it, I do believe that the frequency of attacks was lower during my cycles. The severity was still there, though.

Good luck with yours!
