I'm really scared to ask, but I have to know.

There are a couple of people in my town who have CH. Before I heard about them I didn't know anything about it. I learned that since we live in a very liberal community that they were able to safely find psilocybin and lsd, which have helped them immensely. Of course I found it quite strange at first, but the literature is there to support it:

thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/02/05/longtime-sufferers-of-cluster-headaches-fi
nd-relief-in-psychedelics.html
maps.org/media/neurology.cluster.pdf
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16801660

The reason I'm anxious about posting is both because I know that medication can be a very sensitive topic, especially medication that has been illegalized because of its potential for recreational use, and because the forum rules contain a very explicit section about illegal drugs. Of course, that was concerning dealing and I'm certainly not a drug dealer. But I needed to know some things and I didn't know where else I could ask. So:

Are the medical uses of lsd and psilocybin widely known in the CH community?

Do sufferers of CH who would like to use them have access to them in their communities, safe from both the law and the dangers of criminal activity?

That's all. I just wanted to know that people are not being denied greatly beneficial medication because they are overlooked by the law. Or rather, that their need is overlooked by the law, but their attempt to meet the need would not be.

Yes it's widely known about among us but I'm afraid I can't answer your questions specifically as I've never taken it (not saying I wouldn't though).

On the left of your screen is a row of tabs. The bottom one - "cluster busters"  may give you the info you need.

Good luck, and let us know how you get along.

Several years ago a news item noted that one of the major drug mgg. was going to investigate this class of drugs for possible Cluster use. I haven't seen any comments since.

My primary object is that, if you are self-diagnosing you may be missing a significant medical problem by assuming you have Cluster. Take a look at:
