remission time
Aug 1st, 2014 at 9:25pm

after about a two month,6 hits per day battle with the beast it seems that this round is over. My remission period is about 3 years so i am done for a while. While those of us in remission celebrate it is important not to forget how vital it is to educate people about cluster headaches, every time I hear someone complain about a headache i begin to ask questions, which have led to diagnosis in two people whom i know of..... they are eternally grateful. If we can spare one person the runaround to doctors and the misdiagnosis we will be one step closer to winning the battle with the beast. To those of you who are chronic or on a cycle have faith you will prevail. Pain free days to you all

Hope your remission lasts, as Joe said, a lifetime.

Just came up on five years PF myself. That's NEVER happened before.

Maybe there really is such a thing as "aging out".

But we'll see. One day at a time.  Smiley

All the best,

George

Great to hear! I completely agree with the "Misdiagnosing" doctors we have out there. I think everyone here knows what it feels like to be looked at like a drug addict. Mine are back after a 2 year remission, I only hope my "Evil Friend" only stays for a short while. In the meantime, I do the same, help all I can!
