I am in the middle of a bad cycle. I am lying here awake because I dread going to sleep. I know the clusters will wake me up tonight. I can feel the shadow even now.

Welcome to the board. Sorry you had a reason to come here.
First, I have to ask, have you been diagnosed with cluster headaches? By a competent doctor?
You came to the right place if you have cluster headaches. You have much reading to do. Start with the tabs on the left side of your screen. Take the cluster quiz and let us know the results.
If you are getting shadows try downing an energy drink like Monster, Red Bull, or 5 Hour Energy drink.
OTC pain killers are mostly useless against a cluster. Morphine won't even put a dent in a cluster.
Please tell us more about yourself and your pain.
