Red Bull class action
Oct 8th, 2014 at 11:05pm

My daughter sent me this.

Because many of us use Red Bull I thought you might find this interesting.
It also shows how crazy our world is getting !

Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

Basically they are saying that Red Bull's advertising has been fraudulent because it doesn't give you wings or improve performance and if you have purchased it in the last 12 years, no proof of purchase required, they will give you $10 cash or $15 of Red Bull product.

Check out the website

yep, I saw that too,
after I saw that, I sat watching t.v last nite and made particular attention to the adverts,  boy, if they managed to drag redbull into court and win a legal case, then theres a hell of a lot of companies out there that must be kaking in there boots about there adds on t.v
probably a simple solution, start legistlating against these "car sales" solicitors that make a living out of identifying legal loop holes to take such action in the first place !
sorry for upsetting any of our forum members with this vocation,   but as short straw commented, what is our world coming too !!!
I call them educated gutter scum !
where will it actually end, the mind boggles !
mind you, a pair of wings would come in awfully handy !
lol

Yep. All you need is a packet of tampons and you can go swimming, surfing, ride horses, jump out of planes and dance the night away with a huge smile.

So that is why I'm no good at dancing! I'll ask my better half to get some when she goes shopping...

Can I sue if it doesn't help?

The ones I love are the med ads.. When they get thru with "what can go wrong in "some cases" - heck the cure is worse than the disease..

But I definitely need to pick up some tampons so I can dance the night away..  Smiley

And I'm going to get some of those instant breakfasts so I can have breakfast with the sun.. Smiley Kiss

LOL,  Brian, I remember that advert
" girls can do anything " was the catch phrase if you used there particular brand of tampons !!!!
OH I cringe with the latest batch of adds towards that topic, even my wife sits there and shakes her head in disbelief !  I think the've had to take them off the screen due to complaints !    LOL

It would be nice though if you could swig a RB back, stop a cluster hit, fly off into the sunset whilst solving a complex calculus equation.

I'd like to see them try Colin. After the medical bills I paid today, they'd be lucky to get $10 out of me.
I suppose I could give them whatever cans I've got left in the fridge  Roll Eyes

When people allow this kind of thing to happen, they are allowing the infection to spread.

I agree - it was funny 30 years ago and I would have laughed then. Now it's just an obvious indication of how people are willing to accept a complete lack of common sense.

Just my 2 cents worth, in a world where pennies are worthless........

Common Sense... that's the WORD.... the one that's missing from our society these days.

Commercials are to SELL products, but I can't believe that people actually "believe" everything they say. they're meant for "entertainment" and to get the name of the product out.. not to take everything as "fact".

Red Bull is loaded with caffeine .. thus it should "perk" you up (or wake you up). What you do after that is up to you. Duh? Huh

I guess Coke and Dr. Pepper will be next.   Kiss
