Pain
Nov 1st, 2014 at 8:20pm

Hello,

Well I am currently in the middle of an "episode" or whatever you call it. I am just now winding down from the pain. I had to leave work and I felt bad but even people at work were like.. "Yeah you look bad..."
My eyelid likes to droop shut one the one side (left) every time. It's also the same side I get the pain. Coincidence?
I also left my oxygen at school (30 min away) and there's no way I can drive there to get it since I also took a norco because I was so desperate for the pain to end.
Did anyone else notice that a certain medication stopped working for them? For instance, maxalt used to work for me, but I found out today that it no longer does. Luckily I had imitrex with me and I took that and (thank god) it actually helped.
Still, there is some residual pain but nothing near as bad as the clusterheadache. I'm hoping once I can get to my oxygen I'll be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
Wish me luck!! Cry

I'm not sure what a Norco is but if it's a narc - it probably won't help for long and will cause rebounds big time.

Over the years, in a pinch I've found that 3 Excedrin Extra Strength and a cup of coffee (or a Red Bull) will help when you can't get to anything else. BUT be careful with the Excedrin -- too much and you'll have rebounds from that also.

Wishing you some PF time.. (And you might check out the D3 regimen.. it's working great for a lot of us).  Kiss
