Just thinking.
Nov 15th, 2014 at 12:08am

Fishing with lures in the Swan River, things are a bit quiet
so I changed too bait fishing, and a thought crossed my
mind. Is it just me or would I be wright in thinking folk
are seeking more and more help on social media for
help in becoming pain free from the beast, and all the
answers to their questions are Red Bull, and Oxygen.
Don't get me wrong, they are great abortive in some
folk, but if anyone dares to mention alternative treatment
like the vitamin D regiment for long term relief, they are
classed as a quack, and told it could be detrimental to your health, what a joke. It ceases to amaze me that there are folk on social media giving their 2cents worth of advice that are so thick.

Cheers, Hoppy.

Hey Hoppy,
I see the correlation of your fishing experience to dealing with CH. If something isn't working, trying something else seems to be the only alternative. doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results makes no sense.
Yes, social media is being used often and in the case of my seeking help for CH this site is a tremendous help.
those of us who deal with CH know too well the condition and there is little to nothing that we won't try to improve our health.
While there are some who resort to even halucinigens, I am not one of them but I do not judge those who do. Rather, I hope they consider something more safe or at least consult a physician regading their health and the course of treatment that they choose. Oxygen has been an awesome abortive for me; verapimil took some time to offer preventative assistance, but I didn't feel comfortable taking it long term. I looked into the D3 regimen and have been on it now for a month. While I am still dealing with some shadows, the beast has been at bay since the onset of beginning the regimen. I have an appt. to get my 25(OH)D level on Tuesday and expect the reading to be in line with my health. IMPROVED.
I hope by switching to live bait that you were able to land a few.
Cheers,
-Don

G'day Don,
Not much luck so far, as far as fishing goes, a bit to early
in the season me thinks. I was pleased to read the vitamin
D3 regime is starting to kick in for you, I started on it in
the Spring of 2012 after suffering from CH's for 43yrs,
and happy to report I haven't seen hide nor tail of the
Smileysince. Hoping this will be the same
outcome for you  Smiley

Cheers, Hoppy.
