The  Smiley definitely has a way at getting us
all at our wits end, but the thing is not to let him get on
top of us. There are lots of prevents, and abortive
treatments we clusterheads use to prevent this from
happening in the first place. If you could outline what
you have tried taking thus far, we maybe can help you
become pain free.

Cheers, Hoppy.

Normally it is not wise to speak for the masses, but because we all suffer from the same thing, I think it is safe to say we all understand  and know to at least some extent your anxiety. As Hoppy says , let us know what you are doing to better deal with the condition

Hey Adam,

Bob has given you some sound advice about contacting the folks at OUCH (UK)... Act on it!  The OUCH (UK) Helpline phone number is 01646 651 979.

You also need to get home oxygen therapy ASAP!  It's available for cluster headache sufferers through your NHS...

Oxygen therapy should be your first abortive of choice and not your last line of defense...  If used properly and early at the first sign of a CH, oxygen therapy can abort most CH in an average of 7 minutes.  If you get hit while sleeping, you'll need to jump on the oxygen as fast as possible...  Most oxygen therapy users keep their systems by the bed or close by.

The first step in obtaining home oxygen therapy is to download the attached Home Oxygen Order Form (HOOF) pdf file.  With the HOOF in hand, talk with the folks at OUCH (UK) about the process of obtaining home oxygen therapy... They know the step by step process as well as all the rules and regulations about obtaining home oxygen therapy...  They'll save you a lot of time.

Check your PM inbox...  I've sent you some additional information.

Take care and please keep us posted.

V/R, Batch

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there

Hang in there Adam. It is an extremely challenging situation that you are in, that most, if not all of us, can relate to and we survive through it because we are strong and support one another. Please feel free to vent and ask questions whenever you want. We are here for you.

Adam, so many of us understand what you're going through, so you are never alone in this. As others have said follow up with Ouch UK using their helpline number so you can ensure that you're getting the best possible treatment options.

Also follow up with your doctors, don't take no for an answer.
