It's COLD in TEXAS....
Feb 26th, 2015 at 9:03am

I'm sitting on my WHITE hill looking at nothing but snow.. We got about 6-7" yesterday and for this part of the country that's a BIG snow.

My heart goes out to those back east and north who are getting FEET of snow.

And the really funny part (and they say if you don't like Texas weather wait five minutes) next week the temps are supposed to be in the 70s.

We're so confused... don't know whether to get out the longhandles or the bikinis..

Hope everyone is staying warm today..  Kiss

Crazy weather for sure.  California  highs only in the 60's.  That's cold weather for us. O.K....for me.

Well, after a week of freezing temps and 7" of snow.. we're having 70 degree weather today.. This is NUTZ!

And then tomorrow we get winter again - below freezing..(and possibly more snow and sleet). Guess I'll enjoy spring while it's here today..

Does anyone remember what SUN looks like?   Kiss

Brrrr......

Barb, six or seven inches sounds serious for your part of the country. Maybe you can make a sleet man as I saw at Huntington Beach, CA a few days ago.

Bundle up.

Some rain here would be wonderful. The whole country looks to be just a variation in shades of brown as we've been having a long, long summer with virtually no rain at all.

Of course, once it arrives we'll want summer to return...

I imagine many women would be jealous, but you may still consider a trip to Cairns in tropical North Queensland.

Satisfaction guaranteed.

And this morning the ground is covered with snow again. Got about 2" last night. And it's sleeting right now with freezing temps.

BUT they tell me we'll have 50 degree temps by noon.. Geezzz... this is totally NUTZ!

My yard is so soggy that I'm afraid to walk out in it -- afraid I'll disappear and never be heard from again  (it's that muddy).

Aussie -- I'm ready to come visit.. Dry sounds good right now..  Kiss

We had the coldest February in our history. No thaw and the average was just about 11 degrees. Gonna be between -5 and zero tonight. That will be a March record. Not gonna last though.

It was 70 here in Central Alabama yesterday, hit 36 today, back to 60 tomorrow...  Had a hours drive home from work today, the beast figured he'd ride with me, had my window down with my head stuck outside...  We're crazy...   Cheesy

Yeah, Jo Jo, I'm with you. Had a migraine hit yesterday -- temps went up to about 60 in the afternoon and melted everything.. then dropped to 17 last night so it's frozen again. And the barometer is going up and down with it.. UGH!

Good thing - the D3 is keeping the CH at bay so I'm not getting hit with them, but still getting the migraines.. Still think I need a head transplant.

Maybe SPRING will get here soon...  Kiss

Totally know what you mean by the barometer going up and down, playing havoc with migraines.

Whilst D3 is amazing with CH prevention and it also seems to do well with migraines too, for some strange reason if you have both it seems to only work for the CH part. There is clearly some insight to be gained from this, but I've not figured it out yet.

As to head transplants, there was recently a load of articles about it, e.g. Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register, which predict that this could be done in a few years time.
