Steve Adams is a kiwi basketball player for the Oklahoma Thunder in the US and what he gets up to gets some good coverage here in NZ. The latest one is an advert he has done for a bank there using loads of kiwi expressions.

See how well you can follow what he says...
Quote:
"Kia Ora, I'm Steven Adams, I'm a Kiwi bloke who has a new bach in Oklahoma. Because I'm a bit of a dag, BancFirst has asked me to spin a yarn with you about what makes them so choice. Tu Meke.

"So I'd better get my A into G. It's all about one word that means the same all over the world. Loyal. You'd have to be two sammies short of a picnic to not bust a gut to do all your banking with Bancfirst. Whether you're loaded or on the Dole, they treat you like rellies, they never spit the dummy, and they always put in a hard days yakka.

"So if you're a bright spark, you'll have a geez at them, and if you do, you deserve a chocolate fish. Bancfirst, loyal to Oklahoma, loyal to you. Sweet as."

Now those from over the ditch will no doubt follow it, but for those who need a translation, you can watch the video, complete with subtitles where it is translated into American:
