Just Saying Hi
Jul 2nd, 2015 at 9:45am

Went back in cycle a week ago after 6 months or so PF...Ramping up D3 and co-factors right now.  Seemed to cut the cycle short last time (  thanks Batch for everything).

Been reading all messages on here for 10 years or so...just wanted to say Hi.

Man, I wish I could sleep for a couple of hours.  REM sleep not possible right now, triggers nasty ones every time I try.

Thanks to everyone who has ever shared their experience with the beast on this website.  Knowing that I'm not alone has always been a source of strength during my darkest moments fighting the pain.  This too shall pass.

Sorry if I'm babbling on...need sleep.

Cheers

Hi Potter

I've found slammin Monster energy drinks works sometimes as an abortive if I catch a given one early enough.  Tried all others(O2, Pharme, etc...nada)

My prevent..loading/ramping back up on Batch's D3 regemin.  Been a long cold wet spring where I live and suspect the recent pollen blooming may be part of the latest trigger.  I've had "Hay Fever" since I was a kid and the last couple of weeks have been Itchy scritchy/benedryl for me.

Hoping I can cut this cycle short again.

Take Care.

Hi and welcome

Are you working with a headache specialist?

What abortives and preventives have you tried? It is uncommon for all to not work but possibly you've not been given the right medications or at the right dose.

With oxygen, were you using a non-rebreather mask and a high flow rate, 15lpm or more? You can read more about how we use oxygen at - Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register.

For preventives, have you tried verapamil, lithium, topamax?

For abortives, have you tried injectable or nasal spray imitrex?

And you might try Melatonin at night (for sleep). It helps get you thru the REM sleep (where the headaches occur).

And did I understand right?  Did you start the D3 and then stop it when your cycle quit? If so... not good. It's a commitment .. you need to stay on it ALL THE TIME whether in cycle or not.

Let us know how you're doing.. And we're here for ya... Kiss Kiss
