My Heart Goes out to Cluster Headache Sufferers!
Dec 1st, 2015 at 9:31pm

Hi,

I don't want to invade this forum with non-cluster headache discussions. I just wandered upon the site and wanted to tell you that my heart goes out to all the sufferers and that I know you are all one BRAVE and STRONG bunch! I suffer from severe migraines where emergency room visits w/morphine and stronger meds are needed to ease the pain. However, I know that this doesn't compare to what you all go through. It can be frustrating to feel that no one understands your pain and some people go as far as assuming you're "exaggerating" or "faking for attention". This I know migraine and cluster headache sufferers share in common. Anyway, you will all be in my prayers. And if it's of any consolation, know that I think of your cluster headaches, and in a way, it makes my petty migraines feel like a blessing.

Sincerely,

Connie M.

You are very kind, Connie, but we have much to thank you for in return.

Among our greatest weapons in dealing with this monster are Imitrex and oxygen therapy, both of which were developed for migraine and happily stolen by us ClusterHeads.

Only good days are ahead,

Brian down under.

I'm an old CHer. ANY fucking head pain that is severe enough to take you out of the game is serious shit. ...Debilitating. We CHers appreciate yer concern...a lot has changed from the old days...CHers used to get into dissing migraine folks...I do not...as many here now do not....What you suffer from totally screws up yer life....and hurts a shitload...ours ...on the whole...are less lengthy than yers....i do not ever want to experience a migraine...head pain is head pain...O2 doesn't seem to work for you...ya close yerself off and seek quiet...we CHers pace and beat our heads against walls...yers usually last a lot longer....different forms of torture...oh ...by the way...mine hurt werst than yers...walk in the sunshine
