Nuther problem ... I'm just so lucky...
Feb 3rd, 2016 at 11:04am

Went to my neuro and he decided to do a complete check-up and noticed that my hands had a tremor (I thought all OLD people had that, but he seemed to think I shouldn't). So he puts me on this NEW med to stop them...

I started it Monday night and yesterday I couldn't even wake up - all day.. Think I had a reaction or something. I looked it up and the side effects were EXACTLY what I was having.. and he promised me it had NO side effects... aren't I the lucky one.

So yesterday I took half a pill at 4 p.m. thinking I might just sleep off the side effects. This morning I'm doing better (at least I'm awake) and not quite so dizzy. If this keeps up I think I need to call him and let him know that tremors are preferable to this mess....

For some reason I don't think I'd make a good drug attic... This feeling is NOT good. How do people live like this? And this isn't even on narcs... geezzzz!

Ok, I've complained. Now I'm going to get up and go try to do "something". Thanks for listening ...  Kiss Kiss

Barbara,

Get back to that doc straight away.

In the meantime, mind yourself.

Peter.

What Peter said! Get off of it right now. We'd like to keep you around for a while longer. Exactly why, I'm not sure, but we've gotten accustomed to you. Smiley

If the cure is worse than the disease, it's time to reconsider the cure.

Totally agree with the wise opinions already written.

Every drug has side effects. It is interesting to read medical literature about drug trials where it is totally expected for even people who are getting a placebo to have side effects.

Got with the doc yesterday and OFF that med. Am sober today. Geezz... I've pulled some drunks in my life, but THEY were FUN... this one wasn't.. no more of that stuff...

Woke up this morning feeling normal (for me). So I guess that stuff has worn off. Doc said only a "few" people have side effects and I was just one of the "few". Never know.. now I do..

Anyone taking Primidone? I have a full bottle that's going down the drain shortly.

But the good news... all my tests came out fine... I'm good for another 50,000 miles. Starting back on the Botox for the migraines next week so that should help them (been off that for about a year and they came back in force so.. back to what works).

Ya know, if it weren't for my head... oh well.. maybe someday they'll do head transplants..

Luv ya all..  Kiss Kiss
