Hey trapper,
If the doc knew all about CH, he would have given you a script for O2.
I don't know anything about metoclopramide but I have never seen it mentioned on this forum.

If that doc refused to give you a script for O2, get another one that really knows about CH.

All the best

Hey Trapper,
that's great, if you get to the O2 early in an attack, you should get relief pretty quickly.
Are you familiar with Batch's D3 regimen.
It is helping lots of us here. Some of us have become pain free thanks to it.
Others have managed to reduce the intensity of the CH quite a bit with it too.

All the best

Trapper,

Read about D3 here, especially part 2:

Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

Also, the O2 mask on sale here (see Oxygen info on the left if your screen above) is far more effective at getting the oxygen into your system than the standard mask, thus relieving your pain faster.

Best regards,

Peter.

The problem is that your doctor is pretty clueless about CH.

Metoclopramide is a drug used for nausea and is sometimes given to people with migraines. That is about the only connection between it and CH.

You need to find yourself a headache specialist with experience of working with people with CH who will be able to give you the right treatment for CH.

Hey Trapper,

Why not do the D3 regimen full time?  Lots of health benefits as well as avoiding your next CH episode.

Have a look at the Vitamin D Council website.

Peter.
