Kay eye,

Welcome to CH.Com. We're very glad you found us.

No, you are not alone and never will be again.

What Mark is referring to can be found on the link below. Read part 2 in full. Then come back with as many questions as you need.

Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

This treatment regime is working for over 80% of those of us who use it, and I mean " life changing".

It's very cheap and does not require prescriptions from any Doctor, although we always advise that you discuss starting it with your Doc.

So that's your reading assignment for tonight. Keep posting anytime. As this is a world wide community, there is always someone to listen and give support and advice.

Best wishes,

Peter.

It's not wise or ethical of us to tell you how to treat your headaches until you tell us about the medical treatment you have/are receiving AND some info about the docs you have been seeing (duration, their medical background,etc.).

At this point, we are put in th pointof shooting in the dark in giving advice. Not good for you or us.

I think after suffering for half his life from CH and the information provided, the diagnosis is well established.

In any event, starting the D3 Regimen can only be good for general health.

Peter.

Hey Keebee

I'm glad you found this site. I'm also new and thought I was alone and helpless also. There is a lot of reading to do here. The more you are informed about this the better you are when you see your doctor. I started the vitamin D3 regiment 2 1/2 weeks ago and now I'm PF after a long 13 week cycle. Don't give up hope. You have all our support. You will get a lot of advice from a lot of smart people here.

Hang in there

Kaybee,

I still remember the morning at 3am years ago when I found this site looking for some answers. I felt so alone in my struggles with the pain, no sleep, feeling like a zombie when I was awake but afraid to go to sleep again.

I had half a diagnosis from my ENT but was waiting for an appointment with a Neuro to confirm it was CH. When I remember the feeling of no longer being alone in this..that others out there understood and cared and were there to help..I want to cry all over again.

Listen to those that have posted above and will post below me. Start the D3 regimen asap. See a good headache Dr if you have not already and get a RX for O2.

Above all know that you are not alone and that things will get better.

Wishing you pain free days and nights.

I would echo what has been said above. The D3 regimen will not harm you, even if you don't have CH, but has positive health benefits, so I would get started on it right away.

A strong echo to what Bob Johnson said. You need a solid diagnosis from a competent HA specialist. Your doctor is woefully ignorent of CH if he is prescribing Fioricet. I've been there, got hooked, and don't want to see anyone else got through that. It wouldn't be so bad if it actually did anything for the CH, but it won't.

Once you have a solid DX, there are a number of recommendations we can make to help you, but it would be unwise for us to suggest something that could cause problems if you actually have something else.

all the best,
Jerry
