Hey Thierry,

Great find... Thanks for posting it.

I'd done a little research on this topic for a paper I've been writing... Cluster Headache is listed as #1 or #2 in the majority of the lists of "Most Painful" medical conditions.

One of the best lines about CH I came across that's so true and that makes CH conferences so very special follows:

"“Cluster headache patients get empowered by a bond with another cluster headache patient because we can finish each other's sentences, when others can’t understand,” she says."

AussieBrian posted the other great line about CH...

"It was the world's greatest Supporter, writing to another Supporter brand new to this nightmare, who said, "They go to a place we can't access, nor ever hope to understand"."

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there

Good spot Thierry.

I don't get the Indo myself, so I would have missed it.

Thanks,

Peter.

An interesting list and it is careful not to fall into the trap of trying to rank them.
  • Shingles
  • Cluster headaches
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Broken bones
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
  • Heart attack
  • Slipped disc
  • Cancer
  • Arthritis
  • Migraine
  • Sciatica
  • Kidney stones
  • Appendicitis
  • Trigeminal neuralgia
  • Pancreatitis
  • Gout
  • Endometriosis
  • Stomach ulcer
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Pain after an operation

I'm sure that between the CH population, we'll have experienced most of these (6 myself so far...).
