Need a few good vibes...
Sep 8th, 2017 at 9:27am

Wednesday night my brother-in-law was killed in a car wreck. We aren't sure what happened but think he had a stroke or heart attack (he's had both) and just passed out and ran into a ditch.

We're all in shock.. it's sinking in slowly that he's gone. He was the baby of the family and half of a set of twins.

He was very artistic (I have paintings of his from high school and after hanging in my house and love them all).

He was sarcastically witty (don't think he ever said anything to me in 57 years that wasn't an insult - but I DID usually get EVEN.  Smiley)

We're all trying to cope with the loss - it will register before long, but right now .. it's tuff..

Remember the Henderson family in your prayers.  Kiss

Sorry for your family loss Barbara. Sudden death of family is always tough. Focusing on the good times helps get through it easiest, although never truly easy. Hugs and Prayers Smiley

Exactly what Gregg said, losing family suddenly is tough. Good memories help, but there is still a loss that can't be filled.

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there

Thanks guys... it's just dawning of all of us that he's gone. The funeral was yesterday, so the loss will begin setting in now.

Our little Chase (7 year old) was looking at people with his mouth open - "Granny are these ALL my cousins?" Yep, kiddo they are.  Smiley Then he wanted his mother to write all their names down so he could remember them.  Smiley There were only about 200 "family" members there.

But then to celebrate Royce's life - the VFW threw a party for the family. And that was perfectly fitting.

It was really a bittersweet day. Now hopefully things will go good the rest of the year.

Thanks again for the good vibes. Kiss
