We know the people who fought this beast,
Who fought this beast and won!
We know the folk who won't give up,
Who fight until it's done.
They're the soldiers I'll march beside,

These are the people I'm happy to follow,
Happy and proud to stand in their ranks.
These are the fighters who gave me strength,
And strength and more still in the bank.
These are the soldiers who gave me hope,
Shoulder to shoulder, the power to cope,

The pain isn't mine,  it's shared by all,
It's shared by all of us here.
And those who care and dare to share,
To share in all our fear.
