It’s been a while...

I have been on a steady dose of Verapamil 80mg 3 times a day....which oddly enough have helped keep the CH at bay for the most part.  I still get migraines that I take a monthly Emgality shot for.  Dr. Also has me on Venlafaxine.  I just recently upped my verapamil dose to 120 mg morning and night at 80mg in afternoon.  The past couple days I have been soooo tired.  Has anyone noticed verapamil making them sleepy?

Great to see you,  GreenEyes,  even if it is for all the wrong reasons.

Tiredness is a common side-effect of Verapamil and so,  delightfully,  is headaches.

Some things never cease to amaze me.

Hi greeneyes, maybe talk with your doctor about upping your Emgality dose to 300mg once a month, which is recommended for the treatment of episodic CH's, it's having a good record of becoming CH free.

Yes verapamil can cause tiredness. For me it is like having a handbrake on. You can adapt to it but the side effect is always there.
