I got on top of my CH a year ago by taking very high dose of verapamil (1200mg per day). Once CH stopped I reduced the dosage slowly down to 120mg per day. Things went well until just recently where I have had a few moderate CH. I am taking either 120 or 240mg verapamil but am concerned because I have taken abortives due to severity. A year ago I ended up in a chronic CH situation and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. 4 to 6 serious episodes per 24 hour period.
