Not sleeping well...
Dec 8th, 2021 at 3:41pm

Hi new here. First post. I deal with my CH on the regular in the evening but I been having struggles staying asleep at night. Constantly waking up 3-4 times a night for no reason. No CH through the night, no dreams just waking up. Doctor prescribed Amitriptyline but other than that didn't give me any answers. I'm now napping in the afternoon for about an hour but my doctor says to avoid that. Anyone else have the same struggles.

G'day,  Does,  and welcome aboard.  Many of us have trouble sleeping though usually it's because we get belted two hours after dozing off which is also why many CHeads avoid that afternoon nap.

Then there's the possibility of  'phantom hits'  which means suffering all the symptons of a big one without any actual pain.  Those who've never had one think we're mad,  and perhaps they're right,  but to us it's all too real.

Had any luck with other medications or therapies?
