I would not advise taking any during the day if you need to drive or stay awake. I reached for the verap one day and picked up the zanaflex by mistake. I didn't have my glasses on at that time and couldn't read the label. I didn't think I was going to make it to town. It was a real struggle to drive and later stay awake and comperhend anything during my meeting.
When my doc prescribed them, he didn't mention that it was for prevention, just to help me sleep. I still got headaches while taking them, but that was before the shrooms. Good luck and be careful.
