I don't give a rats ass where the convention is going to be next year! What I do care about is how it was done. I don't know about this BOD meeting at the convention. I know that the location of next years convention was never discussed among the convention committee. There was three members Kip, Todd and I. Maybe Todd and I would have agreeded to the location of the convention being in Candia I don't know. I don't feel it was done right and what bugs me is how much more O.U.C.H. stuff will be done this way.I know I missed someone very special to me at the convention who was not able to come and that was Margi she lives there I would love to see her. I also know that Bonnie and Warnen are very nice people and have great heads on their shoulders. Next years convention will be Great with those three doing it.
I have seen discussion as to the first convention was better than the second. Let me tell all of you something. They were both Great! Bob P did a wonderful Job last year! Bob P was also a driving force for me this year. He told me what not to do and that helped alot. Its just like everything else the people that came made the conventions great not us cause without them there would have been no convention.
I do agree that things were not done right and its a shame that things can not be discussed on this board without it being a all out war.
Right now my opinion is just that my opinion. I voiced it under Todds. Hang me shoot me!
O.U.C.H. can be a great thing and can help us all. Things were talked about at the convention and changes are in place from what I know. Bob P is on vacation and one he deserves. I have backed O.U.C.H and been involved from the start. I will back O.U.C.H as long as I believe in it. Right now I still believe in O.U.C.H.!
O.U.C.H. to me is HOPE. Hope that someday someone will hear us and find a end to our pain. Hope that there will be a end to it all. Hope that none of us ever have to see someone beat their head on the wall as we wached at the convention as Linda did. I want O.U.C.H. to give them hope too. O.U.C.H. is not going to do this unless they change and they hear what people have to say. I have disagreeded twice in two years with O.U.C.H. and twice I was told to shut up. I have a voice and a opinion and I will voice it and every member should be heard be it suppoting O.U.C.H be it disagreeing or be it agreeing. Give me a O.U.C.H. board and I will voice it there. The point here people is give the members the right to voice a opinion and instead of getting all bent out of shape. Take it and work with it. Don't condemed us for seeing it in a different light. Like I said shoot me If you feel you must but don't tell me or another member to shut up!
