While searching the internet late one night with one eye closed due to a searing CH, I tripped over the highlighted link. Essentially, a doctor is claiming that CH are related to a decrease in testosterone production in men and touting success in treating CH with testosterone replacement therapy.

While I don't buy much sold on the internet, the idea of a hormonal component in CH is appealing considering my own CH experience: CH began in college and progressed to a chronic condition at this time. Even though chronic, there are still peaks in November and early summer. Combining this with the knowledge that hormone productions change over time and have seasonal fluctiations (along with findings of hypothalmic differences) leade me to strongly suspect a hormonal component.

Any thoughts?
