Abiut ten years ago, I had first a machine such as you are talking abot in my bedroom. While the o2 did help some it did not acheive the concentreation that ineeded and it was noisy and crated a lot of heat and tasted awful. I seem to remeber that it tasted like the smell of old dried urine. The kind of smell tha one foinds in a nursing home.
I had an o2 tank later that worked much much better. Clean and quite and beautiful! :)
I am sur that someone else can give you more and better advice...
