The carotid area in my neck (on the affected side) has been tender and sometimes extremely uncomfortable all during this series of attacks (which started almost two months ago), so it's not necessarily stroke related. One time I applied ice to the neck, trying to get some relief, but the ice hurt like hell and I got a really bad CH shortly after doing this. Nothing seems to help much.
