I have mentioned melatonin on the board before in passing.
After reading about the Hypothalamus/serotonin fluctuations (HPF) I had talked to my father (An accupuncurist and herbologist and an anything-agist :) and he suggested taking Melatonin because he thought it would help to even out the HPF as well as generally help sleep patterns and other symptoms of CH.
I have taken it for a short period years ago, not for CH but for help sleeping. It seemed to create a sort of burning in my esophagus which was uncomfortable. So, I stopped taking it.
Does it help with CH? I Have not tried it for CH. Really, did not have the $ to go and buy it or did not remember or I'm a lame'o or whatever. I was interested to hear what everyone has said about their experiences with it.
Love, Michael B
