Give up the quit smoking campaign for now. You have enough to handle as it is without adding to it and, as a smoker who has tried quiting, stopping NEVER did squat for the CH. Smoking during a major CH (8 to 10) however, did really anoy the beast. I always know when I'm coming out of it, I can light up and the beast does not get annoyed.
