Hi again Elizebeth, and yes, sigh, my reply is a little too long. Working at it though...

I love to hear these kinds of thing. OIne day I will try one of them that will work well for me! An wtha a happt day that will be! I am very glad that your husband gets some relief from this. You are obviously a good person. It takes a very strong individual to deal with others intense pain. I am sorry that they are chronic for him. But I am glad that he has you there:)

I have noticed that many of the CH'ers seem to have found medications that work only to find that thier effectiveness kind of wears off after awhile. This prettu well sucks. However, that is one reason why I am so intrested in people's personal non-drug methods of dealing with the CH attacks.

I will probably be trying your technique on myself. Glad it wasn't too 'weird' :) I have already tried running/ the Dr. Wirights method / Ice / Cold Shower (Acck!) and many other suggestions that were posted by kind individuals.

I have not had too much success with these. FDor instance the running, well, I casn be kind of lazy and, hey, my neighborhood is proabably not hte best one to go running through in the small hours of the morning :) (Surfing makes my CH's go away totally until I get back on the beach and start to relax. So, I think the excersize running method has a lot of promise) The Dr. Wright's method I have found some success with, it eases it a little sometijmes, if I try it right when I first get the twinges of pain which precurse an major attack. Ice did not seem to help much but I think that I need to find the particluar area(s) where I need to put it. Have tried holding ice cubes in my hands, oputting them on my head or in the area of my left eye and stuff. And the cold shower' well, my heart almost stopped but I still had the pain and was cold and wet too! LOL! So, I probably need to work harder at them that's all.

Thanks again for posting the method that you use to help relieve husband's pain. Hope he has many many PF days to come! Have some fun!

Love, Michael B
