Thanks for the idea kelly.
I had a long chat this morning with my daughter about the problem. I explained to her how her Daddy might just find using one of her old dolls in the way you suggest some help with his horrible headaches.
She wasn't convinced. Looked me straight in the eye and said no, I couldn't have one of her many Barbies as they'd hurt then.
It's tough trying to get something out of a six year old.
