Bonnie: I've had CHs for over 10 years now. Have tried various things such as ergotimine, cafergot, and oxygen. None helped. Most recently with this cycle I tried Amerge, which didn't work. I also, for the first time tried Imitrex injections. They worked---in less than 5 minutes!! I also use the pill form for migraine headaches. That form takes longer to work---about 30 minutes to an hour for a migraine. I am currently on lithium, 600 mg. / day. Haven't had a CH since the day after I started it, which was almost 6 weeks ago.
