Interesting. I have not noticed that before.

Stress, without a doubt, can be a trigger for clusters. I think everyone here has found that to be true.

Clusters are, in themselves, a heck of a stressor. With stress, comes release of a lot of hormones, steroid-like, that could, I suppose, cause a decrease in the white count over a period of time (steroids cause an initial increase, followed by a decrease). Which comes first, the chicken or the egg. Does the lower white count contribute to clusters (I doubt it, but who knows...worth looking into), or do the horrible clusters cause the decrease (I think more probable).
Thanks for the intersting observation. I find the people on this site to be some of the greatest scientists around.
