Last I read, 9% of people with clusters have a history of head trauma (well above normal)...but the average time between trauma and headache was 9-10 years (which is awful long for a causitive event). I bet there is some relation, but no one knows. And there are many, like me, who have the beast attacking us, but no history of head injury
