MRI

I have been on Nadolol for over a month and I keep on having headaches and nausea. My Doc wants me to have an MRI and has switched me to amitrptyline as I was feelng sluggish from the beta blockers (also was on Inderol before the Nadolol.) I am worried about the MRI - anyone have any words of comfort?
