Sue, the more fundemental problem seems to me not to be about your boyfriend or CH. It's about examining yourself and questioning why you would allow yourself to be involved in a relationship of abuse and violence for which there is no excuse, CH or no CH. I've been a CH sufferer for 20 years and I've never heard of it causing memory blackouts. As for the violence, I would venture to say that it is not an outgrow of CH but rather a manifestation of a long time behavior. RUN!!
