is often included in lists of names for what we call cluster headaches, in a lot of the more extensive medical articles

this doesn't necessarily mean the two terms are 100% synonymous for all patients, however;
the way it was once explained to me is that paroxysmal hemicrania refers descriptively to the repetitive, sharp, onesided head pain attacks which we see as the major symptom of CH

the way I understand it,
other maladies/traumas might cause par.hem., and not necessarily be cluster headache, but it isn't cluster headache if it doesn't include par.hem.

just passing on what I've been told, but it seems to make sense
