I have been on prednisone now for almost a month. Tried the taper about a week ago and had a lot of breakthroughs, so the doc put me back up on the higher dose (60 mg). I take 30 in the morning and 30 at night. I will be trying to taper again in about a week. If the breakthroughs come again, then I go back up in dosage and play the game until the beast decides to go away for awhile. Good luck to you and pain free wishes to all!
