yeah, I get that too
like a steady very high frequency buzzing

but I get it whether CH or not, to varying degrees

mine is definitely associated with vascular activity for me - CH attacks, after heavy exercise, anything startling that causes a quick physical response/adrenaline rush situation

had hearing testing a couple times year ago
was told no big deal - said it was common with hoigh blood pressure (which I don't have), and that was why I got it whenever something sent my circulation into overdrive

has NOT gotten worse over the years

my hearing IS diminishing in CH side ear-
BUT can't clearly blame that on CH either;
was on a competitive pistol team for several years;
the shooting stance is sideways, with one ear exposed to the report & the other sheltered from direct exposure
and that will take a ear right out, hearing protection or not

you can always tell an old pistol shooter
if you call to them in the dark they walk round & round in circles trying to find you

suspect that is my hearing problem, far more than CH
