Ed,
I am 37 and have had CH since '82.
I can say I have never had 2 cycles completely alike.
Some long, some short, some severe, some mild.
I was diag as "going chronic" at one point, 11 months w/out remission.
I have heard from one sufferer that his are lessening in severity with age.
I guarantee you mine are worsening. Both in frequency and severity.
Although it looks (knock, knock, knock) that I will miss my spring cycle this year.
However I hold little hope (it's there) as I have had them start in June, July, August etc etc etc.

As far as trying to halt the cycle:
Watch those sleeping patterns.
Keep taking that verapimil, what your dose? search here for quality input on dosage.
Also read "water therapy" here.
Make sure you are active during your average HA time if possible.
Be patient-the monster unfortunately will not leave until it is damn good and ready.

Wishing you remission! NOW

Paul
