Don't go to the doc unprepared. Take some literature with you on clusters. Print out some things off this site and take it with you. EDUCATE your neuros if they don't have a clue (and most of them don't). Don't depend on the doc knowing something - tell them what you have.
Get an MRI to rule out any other things then ask for O2 as well as some of the meds listed on this site. It's a hit and miss game at best, but hope you find something that works for you.
I'll repeat this message. Don't wait for the doc to tell YOU. YOU tell him. Be assertive. This illness is serious and there's no reason to hurt when it can be prevented with a little education to your docs.
