I'm sorry you're hurting, and I wish I could find the words to soothe you but I can't. I can only offer you what has helped my husband: water, oxygen, gravol/dramamine and ice bags. lcbob explains the water treatment and it broke Mike's cycle within two days and we are fending off the next one at the moment by doing the same thing. So what if he grows gills? Oxygen you know about. Gravol/dramamine to get you to sleep - it doesn't put you into the deep sleep where the CH can find you and jolt you awake but it does give you some rest and you need that. Gel filled ice packs applied to the back of Mike's neck have helped him to stay calm and the Beast hates that. I hope you find something that works for you tonight. Don't let the bastard win, girl - your family needs you - the one at home and the one right here on the board.
