I am also glad to have a family that helps all they can when I pace the house in pain so bad I shake and sweat. My little girl has the routine down, she closes the blinds, turns down the A/C, and gets me an ice pack. How do some CH sufferers handle work? As I drove to work today, I had an attack. Icould barely drive!! When I pulled in the last thing I wanted to do was work. I opened up the store and went to my office and prayed for the imitrex to work!!! 30 minutes later I felt good enough to face my employees! What must they think? They can't imagine or understand the pain. In my job, I just can't call in "sick". At home, I can pace, roll, shower or do what I have to do to relieve the pain, at work, what do you do? The anxiety of an attack at work is one of my biggest fears. Our families understand (I hope). I guess a "media blitz" is a great idea so people can try to understand.
Take care, Gene F
