I will tell you what helps me almost every time I have a cluster. I wake up in such pain it takes a few minutes to think clearly enough to even know what to try. But I take a towel in water as hot as I can stand and put if over the side of my head and face or I get in a tub of water as hot as I can stand. If it doesnt abort the pain it usually at least makes it less painful.
I tell myself that if there is a good point to CH it is the fact that we have a reprieve between the pain and that there are people who are in constant pain.
Believe me we know how you feel. But how would you feel if your husband or daughter were thinking of ending it all? Lets all work together to help them find a cure that will put our lives back to normal.
God never gives you more than you can bear although with CH it is pushed to the limit. We are all here for you.
