My experience has been that the drug that worked last cycle doesn't do diddly squat for the next one. Just like you, verapamil worked great for me about three years ago. Then the next year it didn't do a thing to help, but I experimented and found that sansert did. Last year, sansert quit working but lithium did the trick. This year, the lithium does nothing but sansert plus prednisone has knocked it out (3 pfd's so far). I don't think there's anything wrong with upping your dose of verapamil (check with doctor first) but my preference would be to try another solution. I've seen a number of others on this board with the same experience, give it a shot!
