It's unfortunately too true this may lead to filing for disability. I've fought & rejected that avenue for myself. (Lot's of personal reasons I won't go into.) You've struggled so long alone that I want to encourage you to tough it out a little bit longer. 1. Now you ARE NOT alone. 2. This site is a wealth of excellent advice. Prepare for your next neuro visit. Search through the postings & archives. Print off posts about the different treatments, drug combos & FACTS that the neuro must have. Tell him/her what avenues the two of you, as a team, will pursue. I know this may sound like an odd approach to take with a Dr. but we HAVE to take charge of this thing. Whatever the results of your future treatment(s), we will be here for you. I am so sorry for your pain & suffering but glad you found us. This group has been a life saver for me.
