Hi Skip,
My husband has suffered with CH's for 22 years. He is in his longest cycle ever (starting
his 9th month). About a month ago his doctor started him on a combination of pills that slowed down the number of CH's he was getting in a day. Dilatin was one of the pills (3x's a day). He also took Verapamil (2x's a day), Klonopin (1 a day), Artane (2x's a day) and Prednisone . This recipe cut the number of attacks down from 6 & 8 a day to 2 & 3 a day to 2 a day and now 1 ever 4 or 5 days. On the first day of taking all these pills there was relief with the number of CH's cut in half. He no longer takes prednisone, artane and klonopin. So now it's Verapamil and Dilatin and I think Verapamil is important in this equation. It is tuff to find the right recipe to stay out of pain but you all have to keep searching. Ch's really are unbelievably tuff. - LC
